thanks to all for the input and for hanging in there
meeting went "eh" with the lawyer ... it was wonderful having him there ... I feel it tempered a lot of the remarks that they were planning... what an evil ghoulish crew
We saw my radiation oncologist yesterday morning and followed the ambulance to Bobby's surgeon in the afternoon... needless to say.. I'd be pooped even without chemo... these are two hour or more round trips for the transport alone.
Oncologist very warm and supportive as usual... will review my most recent scans and follow up after next scan and work with chemo md on possible addition of radiation to any recalcitrant areas
Bobby has yet another new g tube... I hope they like this one
his pants are almost perpetually wet... i am very concerned about the removal of the texas catheter... I haven't seen his butt in days... he is always flat on his back which is another huge concern
in typical fairsCaPe insanity I have undertaken to redecorate the bathroom so that it is more soothing... I spend a lot of time in there and I need to be soothed
we will be seeing our regular MD today,,, Steven is in for a long overdue check up
i wish i had time to tidy up the other blogs... soon

Take your time lady! We understand that you have a lot on your plate right now. Though I'm sure you have a lot to say as well!
I hope the checkup goes well.
What colors are you going to use?
sending you love and nasty vibes to the assigned areas .

I know when I am sick redecorating is the first thing that comes to mind. Of course if it looks as though I'll be spending a lot of time in there because of whatever I have, maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea. It is nice to see you have such a positive attitude and if redoing the house makes you fell better go for it. Maybe putting on a new roof would be enough to cure you!
spa colours like white and deep seafoam and pale seafoam and sort of tailored but a little girly dotted white swiss on the window valance with maybe a touch of chocolate brown here and there for counterbalance ... i know ... it's nuts... but I'm having a little fun
as for the roof... it is still leaking and I talked to the roofer in person today (face to face) and he agreed it would have been a good idea to fix today but he had planned to be else where and I am feeling just a tad homicidal about the roof... but... all in all I guess it's better than feeling suicidal...
By my standards, homicidal is always preferable to suicidal!
And speaking of homicidal, the battles I've been fighting lately have given me enough fuel to be continually blasting those anterior mediastinal lymphy nodes - and a few other MS spots I've adopted. By golly they should be positively cowaring in fear and frantically searching for an exit by now!!!!
Wow I was just kidding about the roof - I pictured you up there with tar paper and nails. I just figured if decorating a bathroom made you feel better, then major construction would leave you cancer free. Please stay off the roof, though…
Just stopping by...
not giving up and focusing on other things helped my friend overcome cancer. she was told in july she would not live until Christmas - that was 4 years ago. Don't ever give up
The bathroom colours sound nice :) Hope the roof gets fixed soon too.
i checked the actual names on the packages for the colours and they are identified as "fountain" and "clear sky"
i have spread my mischief into the bed room with "clear sky" bed sheets
i find the names funny yet poetic which suits me fine
i have started to hanker after bedroom curtains - #2 son replaced 2 of 3 bedroom windows over a year ago and as yet has not finished the trim or painted and we have been curtainless
i think i would likea thin pink panne velvet if that doesn't sound too wacky
(they'll probably be called "blush"or "tea rose")
its going to look like a very sophisticated nursery but i don't care
I love the sound of the colours. I especially liked the one you called "deep seafoam" but all the colours sound beautifully soothing and much better than this bright pink monster of a quilt cover I got free with two gallons of sake the other day.
Tee hee.
How about pancreatic green?
I came to your blog from PG's blog.. i LOVED the comment u put there..
All the Best for everything!
Advocating for your son and getting chemo and performing feats of bathroom decor and you still have the wherewithall to leave cheeky comments on other people's blogs?
I don't think I could do it.
Hats off.
